Refund policy
VerseCut 3.0 · September 2026 · Stateam LLC
We want you to be happy with VerseCut. If it is not right for you, we will give your money back.
14 days, for any reason
We refund any VerseCut purchase in full within 14 days of payment, for any reason. This covers every plan: Creator monthly, Creator yearly, the Creator one-time licence, and Studio seats, yearly or one-time.
You can also try every Creator feature free for 14 days before you buy. There is no account to make and no card to enter for the trial.
How to ask for a refund
Email capture@stateam.net with:
- the order number from your receipt, and
- the email address you used at checkout.
You do not need to give a reason, though we would like to hear what went wrong. We aim to answer within two business days.
Our payment provider, Paddle, is the merchant of record for VerseCut orders. It processes the refund back to the card, PayPal account or other method you paid with. Refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. You can also contact Paddle directly through the link in your receipt.
After a refund
When a purchase is refunded, the licence that came with it is withdrawn and may no longer be used. Remove it from VerseCut (click Licence at the top, then Remove licence) and VerseCut carries on as the Free plan. Your projects stay on your computer and still open.
Subscriptions
You can cancel a monthly or yearly subscription at any time, from the link in your Paddle receipt email or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. A renewal payment can be refunded in full within 14 days of that renewal.
After 14 days
After 14 days we do not give refunds. Where the law of your country gives you more than this policy does, that law applies.
